Master's Program Introduction to the Master's Program, Department of East Asian Studies Our Master's program aims to cultivate professionals equipped with the capacity for independent thinking and research. Graduates of the program are awarded a Master of Social Science (M.S.S.) degree. The program features diverse research fields and a distinguished faculty. Our curriculum encompasses two major domains: "culture and its application" and "political economy and regional development." As regional studies become increasingly diverse and society places a growing emphasis on interdisciplinary talent, our course offerings are designed to provide both breadth and depth. Whether students' research interests lie in East Asian culture and thought, cultural creativity and applications, East Asian political economy and cross-strait relations, or globalization and governance, they will find comprehensive course options to suit their academic goals.
